Scottish country cottages located on lochs: Gives you a unique holiday experience

Many private owners of lochs in Scotland offer fantastic cottages overlooking the water body. The cottages are big enough to accommodate families with about 10 members. Several cottages of this type are built from stone and have been rebuilt as cozy cottages, beautifully furnished with all modern amenities. What is really wonderful about these Scottish country cottages is that though secluded they are not too far away from civilization. They have spectacular views and can provide you the opportunity of seeing some of its wild life. You can also  take part in various non motorized water sports in the loch. There are activity centers nearby where you can water ski, sail, go kayaking, wind surfing or climbing. A resort won’t give you much more than that.
