When I decided to go golfing with a big group of guys from my community, I did not expect to feel like I was in a driving distance competition. It seemed like every time we teed up, the group was trying to see who could get the longest drive that stayed on the fairway. I decided to go to one of my favorite resources for golf training aids to see how they would recommend I hit the ball. When I figured out what to do, I approached my ball with confidence, relaxed my hands and shoulders, took a slow back swing and ripped the ball off of the tee. Needless to say, I ended up with the longest drive of the day.
