I joined a racquetball club about a year ago. Since I am one of the younger ones that play in the tournaments there, I thought some of the older guys wearing the goggles was silly. However, after playing a while, I realize how important safety eyewear is. I have been hit with the ball in my face on more than one occasion, and it wouldn’t take much to impair my vision. Now, I realize I was the one being foolish for not wanting to wear them.
