One lesson parents need to learn is that great science projects come in all shapes and sizes. Bigger does not necessarily mean better. One day science fair projects can be just as effective as those that take several days or a week to do. Another lesson that is important for parents to learn is that teacher can always tell when these super projects were primarily done by the parents. Sometimes the clue is that it is a big and amazing project! Kids are just as happy with a simpler project, that they understand, and were able to complete all by themselves.
