An occupational health and safety plan is also known as the ohs plan helps protect the health of the workers and safety while in the work place.Whether believe it or not but work place injuries can have an effect on a business.When a worker is hurt while on the job they are entitled to compensation from their work for being injured.When under an ohs plan a business is obligated to report any accident that could have or did result in a serious injury or even  a death. The less accidents that happen in a given  workplace, the less it will cost the business that the employee is employed by.
