My Old Knives Are In The Tool Shed

My son bought me what I thought was kind of an unusual gift for mother’s day.  It was a knife block.  The funny thing was it had no knives in it.  I went ahead and filled it with the odd assortment of knives that I had in my kitchen and I have to say, it did make them much more accessible having them all together on the counter instead of loose in a drawer!  For the next few months though, every gift I got from my son was a new knife for the knife block and now I have a whole set of really nice knives and those old knives are now in the tool shed.
