What She Doesn’t Know Won’t Hurt Me

My wife is a wonderful, understanding woman.  However, when I realized I had forgotten our anniversary right after I had blown my extra money on new golf clubs, I was concerned that I may be pushing the limits of her compassion.  Quick cash helped me to save face.  I was able to get the money I needed to buy her a dozen roses, her favorite perfume, and take her out on the town.  The best part was that she never even knew I had forgotten.  I was able to look like the doting, loving husband who would never forget such an important day.  I even had some extra to head out to the green and try out my new clubs the next day!
