My sister-in-law has been told by her ex-husband that she can’t visit her daughter. He says it is because there were some things that she was supposed to do within a certain time frame. Through no fault of her own, she got them taken care of several days too late. She talked to the sheriff, and he told her that her ex-husband doesn’t have the right to make that decision. Unless a judge rescinds her visitation rights, they remain the same. However, she is afraid to confront her child’s father about it. I think she needs to get a good family law cape coral lawyer who can help her get her visitation back.
