Using Renewable Energy Sources

I really hate the idea of the huge carbon footprint I am creating through my energy use. I am thinking it would be better if I find a source of power that is a bit greener. I think I heard that it is possible to sign up with some companies to get power that has been created through wind power generators, and I might try this. I don’t think I could put one of these by my house, since the neighbors would really complain, but if I could pay a bit extra and get this type of power from the electric company it would make me feel a bit better.
