I run a clinic for troubled children. Usually they are referred here by teachers or doctors who have identified specific child behavior problems that they feel can be helped with counseling. I like to think that I can make a difference in every child’s life, but some will need even more help than I can give. I am able to help them sort out their feelings and work with self-esteem issues. Many children have been hurt by adults or circumstances and are very afraid of the world. That’s no way to live a happy life. Once I see them start smiling again, I know that we have at least made some progress.

Because of my job circumstances I ended up moving up to Salinas California and renting out a small bungalow in back of a main house.The family that lives in the main house, the Hart’s, made me a very good deal to move into the bungalow. My rent is about half of what I used to pay. The only complaint that I have, which I keep to myself, is the fact that there German Shepherd dogs always seemed to be growling at me.
